Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and disaster preparedness initiatives
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and performance bottlenecks
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell/Python/Bash scripting
- Document IT processes and maintain accurate system inventories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology deployments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
