Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and optimize Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Diagnose and resolve system outages, network issues, and hardware malfunctions
- Automate deployment and maintenance tasks using scripting tools (PowerShell/Bash)
- Oversee backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system performance with business objectives
- Document system configurations, policies, and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of networking principles, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Linux+ preferred
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Python)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
