Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee network administration, including LAN/WAN setup, VoIP systems, and wireless networks
- Perform system monitoring, patch management, and disaster recovery planning
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Document IT procedures and maintain compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Proven experience with security hardening and compliance frameworks
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong written/verbal communication abilities for technical documentation and team collaboration
