Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Develop automation scripts for routine maintenance tasks
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex technical issues
- Document IT processes and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years administering Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux environments
- Expertise in VMware vSphere and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Experience with backup solutions like Veeam or Commvault
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
