Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems (blockchain, neuromorphic computing)
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through investor presentations and white papers
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, NASA, and EU Innovation Labs
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to Board of Directors
- Mentor senior engineers on emerging tech ethics and implementation
- Drive patent strategy for 2026 patent portfolio (target: 50+ filings)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in R&D or innovation management
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with published quantum/AI research
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to market ($10M+ budget)
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech launches with global impact
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Speaker at 2+ major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, AWS re:Invent)
