Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Python
- Optimize distributed systems for 99.99% uptime across AWS/Azure
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation with Terraform and Jenkins
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on agile deliverables
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Architect secure authentication and authorization systems
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade backend systems
- Expertise in at least two: Go, Python, Java, or Rust
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of distributed systems principles
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance (required for client projects)
