Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Python and Java
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Jenkins for weekend deployments
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers during weekend on-call rotations
- Lead agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives) for weekend team
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues during weekend coverage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years building cloud-native applications
- Expertise in Python, Java, and JavaScript frameworks
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
