Responsibilities
- Lead and execute weekend software deployments and maintenance windows with zero downtime.
- Debug and resolve critical production issues that arise during off-hours.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code for backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with the Product and QA teams to validate weekend releases.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively prevent outages.
- Participate in on-call rotations and technical troubleshooting sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, Go, or C++).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during weekends.
