Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using Java and React
- Optimize backend systems and APIs for high-traffic weekend transactions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and conduct weekend production deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during weekend sprints
- Debug and resolve critical system issues during weekend operational hours
- Document technical specifications and maintain code quality standards
- Mentor junior engineers through weekend pair programming sessions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development with Java/Python
- Proficiency in React, AWS, and cloud-native architectures
- Strong background in SQL databases and RESTful API design
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
