Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party cloud services
- Lead code reviews and enforce DevOps best practices
- Optimize application performance using profiling tools
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Document technical specifications and architecture decisions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of backend development experience with Java
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices patterns
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
