Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliverables
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing workflows for weekend release cycles
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on weekend rotations
- Contribute to architecture decisions for scalable fintech platforms
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience)
- Expertise in Python, Java, or JavaScript with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
- Proven track record of shipping production-ready applications
- Knowledge of security best practices for financial systems
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with async communication
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Portfolio demonstrating complex software solutions
