Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture in AWS cloud environment
- Write clean, efficient code with comprehensive unit testing and CI/CD integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver feature releases on weekend sprints
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with proactive monitoring tools
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Participate in agile ceremonies during weekend work cycles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with Java, Python, or JVM languages
- Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while maintaining communication
