Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable microservices using Go and Python
- Lead weekend production deployments and incident response with on-call rotation
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for high-availability systems
- Mentor junior engineers through weekend pair programming sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Contribute to agile sprint planning and retrospectives
- Automate monitoring and alerting for production environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong understanding of containerization and Kubernetes
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code
- Ability to thrive in autonomous weekend work environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills for production-level debugging
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
