Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-wide security monitoring using Splunk and SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and zero-day exploits
- Conduct vulnerability assessments across cloud (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure
- Develop automation scripts for threat intelligence integration using Python
- Maintain ISO 27001 and NIST compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts through hands-on threat simulations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification (required)
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong written communication for executive-level reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
