Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using AWS/GCP services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and implementation strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated testing and deployment
- Optimize application performance and security protocols across distributed systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards
- Research and integrate emerging technologies to drive innovation in our platform
- Document system architecture and technical specifications for scalability and maintainability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in cloud environments
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript with modern frameworks
- Expertise with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development (REST/GraphQL)
- Proven track record in building scalable, high-performance applications
- Must be willing to relocate to Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
