Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Debug and resolve critical technical issues that arise during the night shift.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
- Deploy patches and updates to production environments securely and efficiently.
- Document code, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a 24/7 operations environment.
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Go.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
