Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our night-ops infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues during off-peak hours to ensure system stability and performance.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and standards.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and technical decision-making processes.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring low latency for end-users.
- Conduct regular system maintenance and security updates to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and API development.
- Must be available and willing to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST/PST) to support global operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
