Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality across various platforms and devices.
- Identify, document, and track defects with high precision using JIRA and other tracking tools, providing clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and software engineers to understand requirements and provide technical feedback during the development lifecycle.
- Automate repetitive test scenarios using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Perform regression testing on new releases and maintenance updates to ensure no regressions occur.
- Conduct exploratory testing to discover edge cases, usability issues, and potential security vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest QA trends, tools, and methodologies to propose improvements to the testing process.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and software testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing and experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and query execution.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering bug-free software.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
