Responsibilities
- Code Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- System Maintenance: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical issues during off-peak hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Database Management: Optimize database queries and structures to ensure data integrity and speed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and QA engineers to define technical requirements and deliver features on time.
- Testing: Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, API specs, and architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#; experience with SQL and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work the Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST/CST).
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Kansas City, Missouri and sign a 1-year commitment.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
