Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on our production servers during the night shift.
- Code Optimization: Refactor legacy code and optimize application performance for high availability.
- Deployment Execution: Manage CI/CD pipelines and deploy software updates with zero downtime.
- Incident Response: Lead the technical response to critical outages and system failures.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for night operations procedures.
- Collaboration: Communicate technical status to the day shift team and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a shift-work environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical field.
- Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++; experience with AWS or Azure.
- OS Knowledge: Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose complex technical issues under pressure.
