Your Mission
As a Software Engineer on the night shift, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our core infrastructure while ensuring zero downtime for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software code for our night-time infrastructure tasks.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues that arise during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless deployment and integration of new features.
- Conduct code reviews and perform unit testing to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Monitor system performance and security to ensure optimal uptime.
- Document technical processes and create runbooks for recurring night-time operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
