As a Software Engineer at NovaTech, you will play a pivotal role in the full software development lifecycle, from conceptual design to deployment and maintenance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure project milestones are met.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
- Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and system) to ensure software reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (React/Vue) or similar modern web technologies.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team setting.
