Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs for equity vesting, reporting, and administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, finance, and compliance) to define and implement new equity compensation features.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant financial regulations (SEC, SOX).
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the technical vision of the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience using Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of database design and experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with fintech, HRIS, or equity management systems is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
