Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain low-latency C++ and Python components for options pricing engines.
- Develop real-time risk management and position keeping systems.
- Optimize database schemas and queries for high-throughput market data ingestion.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to model and implement derivative pricing algorithms.
- Ensure system resilience, fault tolerance, and security in a high-frequency trading environment.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
Qualifications
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in C++ (modern C++11/14/17/20) or Java.
- Experience with Python for data analysis or scripting.
- Deep understanding of options pricing theory (Black-Scholes, Binomial models) and market microstructure.
- Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
