Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation with Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate in agile sprints to deliver production-ready features
- Contribute to 20% code improvement initiatives through pair programming
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and system architecture
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical services
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go or Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Ginkgo) and TDD principles
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs and gRPC protocols
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production-level systems
