Responsibilities
- Design & Implement: Architect and develop high-performance, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; actively participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement performance optimizations to ensure the application is responsive and reliable.
- Testing: Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee system stability and security.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with experience in React or Angular for front-end integration.
- Cloud & DevOps: Strong experience with AWS or Azure, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to the Boston, MA area to work in a hybrid capacity.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
