Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct thorough investigations into potential security breaches and respond to incidents according to NIST protocols.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and manage the remediation of security gaps.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy security patches and configurations.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
- CISSP, Security+, or GCIH certification is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and automated response tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
