Job Description
At Horizon Future Labs, we are building the digital twin of the Year 2026. As a Simulation Architect, you will lead the engineering efforts required to construct a hyper-realistic, scalable infrastructure for our upcoming simulation platform. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between theoretical future scenarios and practical, deployable code.
We are looking for visionaries who are not just coding for today, but architecting the solutions for the immediate future. Join us in defining the standard for immersive technology in the Year 2026.
Responsibilities
- Design the Core Infrastructure: Architect scalable neural networks and server-side systems specifically optimized for Year 2026 simulation loads.
- Performance Engineering: Optimize rendering engines and data pipelines to ensure 60FPS stability in high-fidelity simulations.
- Protocol Development: Develop and implement future-proof communication protocols for edge computing devices.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers and data scientists to translate simulation requirements into technical specifications.
- System Testing: Lead rigorous stress-testing protocols to ensure system resilience against Year 2026 peak loads.
- Security Implementation: Deploy advanced encryption and security measures to protect sensitive simulation data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software architecture and high-performance computing.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in C++, Python, Rust, and cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP).
- Simulation Experience: Previous experience with Unreal Engine 5, Unity, or similar real-time 3D engines.
- Future Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with AI-driven environments and spatial computing paradigms.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize for latency and throughput.
