Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes from research and wireframing to prototyping and usability testing
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and interaction flows to solve complex problems
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and implementation
- Conduct user research sessions and synthesize insights to inform design decisions
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and interactive demos for stakeholder presentations
- Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across products
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with a portfolio showcasing complex digital products
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Expertise in user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design
- Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Portfolio demonstrating measurable impact on user engagement and business metrics
- Passion for emerging technologies and trends in the Reno tech community
