Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Implement and monitor network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and routine patching.
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux distributions (RHEL/CentOS).
- Administer and secure Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Collaborate with the cloud team to manage hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
