Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers (Windows Server, Linux, AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols to protect sensitive data and network integrity.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Automate administrative tasks and scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable network architectures and IT solutions.
- Monitor system performance using monitoring tools and proactively address potential issues.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior administrators and IT support staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with network protocols, Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP services.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent experience in cybersecurity best practices.
