Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Design, implement, and oversee cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure, including VPC configuration and IAM policies.
- Configure and secure network devices, including firewalls, load balancers, and VPN gateways.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and deployment pipelines using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and configuration management tools.
- Develop and execute robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard organizational data.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Triage and resolve complex technical incidents with minimal downtime, acting as the escalation point for the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in systems administration or a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation purposes.
- Valid certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or VCP) are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
