Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response, forensic investigations, and root cause analysis
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Create and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory compliance (NIST, GDPR, HIPAA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat intelligence
- Strong expertise in network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Proficiency with security tools: Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite
- Certifications: Security+, CISSP, or CEH preferred
- Experience with cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure) and DevSecOps
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
