Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 threat monitoring and incident response using SIEM platforms
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Develop and implement security frameworks compliant with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Lead forensic investigations for data breaches and cyber attacks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Document security policies and conduct employee awareness training
- Manage security automation tools (SOAR, EDR, WAF) for proactive threat hunting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in threat intelligence, malware analysis, and network security
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
