Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server environments (Windows Server, Linux, Azure).
- Monitor system health, performance, and security through advanced troubleshooting and Log Analytics.
- Implement and enforce Active Directory, Group Policies, and Identity Management strategies.
- Lead patch management, vulnerability assessments, and security compliance (GDPR/NIST).
- Provide Tier 2+ technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff and end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and scripting languages to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent military experience.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Linux.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
