Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery procedures
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues with minimal downtime
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and improvements
- Document system configurations, procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Monitor system performance and capacity planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication abilities and collaborative mindset
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
