Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain on-premise and hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage robust network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs to safeguard sensitive data.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and incident response for server, storage, and application issues to minimize downtime.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into the production environment.
- Conduct regular system audits, patch management, and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Microsoft Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with scripting and automation tools is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
