Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, including patch management, vulnerability scanning, and access control (Active Directory).
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Monitor system performance and uptime, responding proactively to incidents and outages.
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery testing to safeguard critical business data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, MCSA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
