Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) and Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS).
- Design, implement, and maintain virtualization solutions using VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, VLANs, and load balancers.
- Develop and deploy automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash to streamline IT operations.
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with the security team to enforce compliance, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentorship to junior system administrators and help desk staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or IT Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Management (GPM).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure, is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, VCP, or CCNA are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
