Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols and access controls.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network equipment, switches, and firewalls.
- Oversee system backups, disaster recovery planning, and execution.
- Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or IT Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
