Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor local and cloud-based server infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime availability.
- Design, implement, and maintain network architecture, including firewalls, VPNs, and switches.
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Execute regular data backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Provide Tier 2+ technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Enforce IT security policies and perform vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server (Active Directory) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Valid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Experience with scripting and automation tools is highly preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or relevant IT certifications are a plus.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. work authorization and pass a background check.
