Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure, including Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, firewalls, and routers to ensure optimal connectivity and security.
- Implement and monitor robust security protocols, including patch management, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate with development teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless application deployments.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is accepted.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
