Responsibilities
- Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Network Administration: Troubleshoot and optimize network connectivity, including VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Automation: Develop Bash/Python scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Backup & Recovery: Manage and validate data backup strategies to ensure 99.9% data availability.
- IT Support: Provide Tier 2 support for end-user hardware and software issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation for all system configurations and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux distributions.
- Networking: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and routing protocols.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, or CCNA certification is highly preferred.
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
