Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or hybrid).
- Oversee server administration, including patch management, OS upgrades, and hardware maintenance.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard sensitive data.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, including connectivity, latency, and hardware failures, with minimal downtime.
- Manage Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and group policies to ensure secure access control.
- Collaborate with the development team to support application deployment and database management.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Valid IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA, RHCE) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
