Responsibilities
- Server & Network Management: Oversee the daily administration of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Infrastructure Security: Implement and enforce security policies, manage firewalls, and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect organizational assets.
- Cloud Integration: Assist in the migration and management of cloud-based resources, primarily focusing on Azure or AWS environments.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system updates, patch management, hardware upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for end-users and internal systems efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, network topology, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or CCNA certification is required.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
