Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux).
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data and network integrity.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Automate routine IT tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
- Oversee daily backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy software updates and patches.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and escalate complex issues to vendors when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy) and Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
