Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMWare, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Manage security protocols, patch management, and compliance frameworks (SOX, HIPAA)
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain system documentation
- Lead disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux distributions (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud technologies
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, RHCSA) required
- Experience with scripting automation (PowerShell, Python)
- Proven track record in high-availability environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
