Responsibilities
- Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and document IT processes
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and automation projects using PowerShell/Python
- Provide tier-3 technical support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) required
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and scripting languages
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
