Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments in AWS and on-premise data centers
- Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement automation solutions
- Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN configurations
- Oversee security protocols, vulnerability assessments, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restoration
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure configurations and create technical SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience with Linux and Windows Server
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell)
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or equivalent experience
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog, Prometheus)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
