Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux infrastructure across on-premise and AWS environments
- Monitor system performance using Nagios and Splunk, proactively resolving bottlenecks
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies for 500+ endpoints
- Lead disaster recovery testing and ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards
- Automate provisioning using Ansible and Terraform, reducing deployment time by 40%
- Document system architectures and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016+ and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware ESXi) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues
